Still having trouble, want to try mp3 background

So a year and a half after discovering I-Doser, I still can't get results :/ I've studied all the topics on meditating, looked it up online and done a ton of research but still can't get it so I'm going to try the mp3 background. I have like 7 albums and have tried all of them on each, I'm just wondering, for people who use mp3 backgrounds, how do you do it? Do you play a song you know well enough to think through the lyrics in your head? Do you use techno songs you love? Do you use something you don't know at all? I'm thinking maybe this will help me because I have trouble not letting my mind wander and I tend to have lyrics stuck in my head during dosing so if I put on a song I can think the lyrics to, it might help. Also, what is a good mp3 to dose volume ratio? Do you want the dose louder or the mp3 louder? And one barely enough to hear or what? Any and all help is appreciated :)

I dont use lyrics, I try to have the MP3 lower then the binaural, I also use ambient sounds like cats purring, or thunder/rain storms, wind, instrumentals, and anything else I can find that is lyric-less as long as you dont blast either so that it is uncomfortable you should be fine. I try to keep the mp3 from drowning out the binaural, and only adjust the two so they are both at a comfortable volume!

And I dont use lyrics because they are very very distracting, I have used some songs that are slow, repetitive chants of the same few lyrics over and over ONLY when the lyrics match the mood I am trying to achive with the binaural. If you ever listen to their Awesome Black Sunshine MP3 dose you will understand what I mean by " Matching the mood with the dose " based on lyrics alone! Goodluck I hope this helps steer you away from lyrics :P
