ok so ive had v3 for a while now, and today i downloaded v4 and installed it and uninstalled v3. After i restarted my computer it wouldnt work. i got an error that said that oleaut32.dll wouldnt start, so i did some research and figured out that upon instaling v4 and restarting my computer it upgraded oleaut32.dll from like v 2.4 to somwhere around 5.1 which apparently doesn't work on windows 98. So i uninstaled v4 and downloaded oleaut32.dll v2.4 to replace the newer one and tried to reinstal v3 but now i get a runtime error!! How do i fix this or is there somwhere i can get idoser v4 that wont upgrade oleaut32.dll?

WINDOWS NINETY-EIGHT.
reformat to windows 2000.
and meanwhile, stick with i-doser 3.

Yeah, it sounds like while using Windows '98 you're going to have to use I-Doser v3. As Vale stated, update your computer to Windows 2000, or even XP or Vista at this point.

v3 works fine... maybe idoser should update the description on v4 so people know it wont work on win98... it doesnt just not work, it screws up windows... im guessing making it compatible with vista made it incompatible with 98 somehow

Yeah it's a problem that i had
It's easy to fix without reinstalling windows
1.Put windows 98 / SE disk into disk drive
2.goto start>run type "SFC" (without quotes) hit enter
3.Click extract 1 file from installation disk
4.Type in "OLEAUT32.DLL" (without quotes) hit enter
5.In the "restore from" box type "C:\windows\options\cabs\" (without the quotes) leave restore to as it is ("C:\windows\system")
6.Hit enter and wait
7.It will tell you if it's successful
8.Reboot
Enjoy
PS can anyone tell me where to get V3?
