When I try to download the app for the mac, I install it and safari opens and says "Sorry but we're not quite ready to support Safari. Until then please try downloading with one of the following browsers"

What should I do?

That's just the browser toolbar that installs after the main app - doesn't support safari. It probably installed the I-Doser App fine, check your apps folder.
