Interesting Dose idea - combat

While I may be new to the forum, I'm by no means new to iDoser. While in Afghanistan last year a friend turned me on to iDoser. I experimented with it quite a bit, and because I had a hacked version of the software, had access to some really screwed up 3rd party doses.

I rediscovered iDoser here recently and have been revisiting it a bit, albeit now with the iPhone app. The sleep doses actually seem to help quite a bit with my extreme insomnia, and some of the recreational doses help with my PTSD related anxiety.

I've messed around with some of the spiritual doses, including Gate of Hades. Those that have experienced this dose know that it brings a huge level of anxiety to the table with it. Having played around with multiple doses in succession, including GoH, it got me thinking, and I came up with the idea for "combat".

What it entails: The deep thinking and open mindedness of pre-mission tactical planning (running scenarios, OpOrd issuance, gathering and deciphering reconnaissance and intelligence), the anxiety of the peri-mission unknown (who and/or what will we run into and when), followed by the high and fear of being in a firefight (there is no drug on this planet like the adrenaline high of being shot at by an armed enemy and knowing that you must destroy them before they destroy you), ending in the dopamine-esq euphoria of knowing you made it through another day (the feeling is almost indescribable. It's the hugest sigh of relief you will ever know. There's an air of paranoia to it as well, as if something else is supposed to happen).

So maybe this is a pipe dream, because I find it highly unlikely that this roller coaster of emotion and thought process could be translated into a 15-20 minute iDose. If it were ever to come to fruition, I'd be curious as to how those that haven't walked in those shoes (or boots rather) would interpret the dose. Although, having been involved in competitive martial arts, as well as other combat sports, the feeling is much the same pre-match, during and after, just to a lesser degree. I believe fighters, paintballers, airsofters or even football, rugby or lacrosse players would get the most out of this dose. I would even go as far as to say that these feelings could be mimicked in the minds of first responders such as LEO, firefighters and emergency medical personnel.

I'm curious to hear thoughts on this. Having read some of the posts on the forum, there seems to be a broad demographic of people from different age groups in different fields of study and/or professions. While this dose is something that would clearly be more directed toward the professional soldier, I feel that it would be accessible to just about anyone.

Why, you ask, would I want to revisit the feelings of being in combat? Why would I want to relive the stress and anxiety, paranoia and fear? The short answer, because it simply can't be understood in less than complex words, is that it's an addiction. It's the same reason skydivers continue to fall from the sky, stunt riders continue to sit on their gas tanks doing 70mph wheelies and why speed junkies are always looking to make their car faster. When you've gone 200mph, 55 is standing still.

Thoughts, comments and criticism are welcome, but please keep it productive.

Maybe a bit of Alert+, one of the painkiller doses, maybe also a bit the Shooter game dose, and antianxiety dose... all mixed up!
