What do you recommend for a beginner?

Hello, everyone! Summer vacation is just around the corner (next week) and I will finally have some time to sit down and try I-dosing. :D I have attempted to dose before but I have encountered some problems:
1. Privacy. My mom doesn't barge into my room or anything like that, I would just prefer for her to not be home when I do this. It's a safety precaution, in a way...just in case I trip balls and start hallucinating or something. Doesn't sound very safe, but I think I could cope better without the twenty questions flying my way.
2. Length. My body has trouble sitting still for long periods of time, even when I'm asleep. I have pretty bad insomnia, so I have trouble getting to sleep and I tend to wake up in the middle of the night. :-( Anyway, I digress...as I was saying, my mind tends to race and I race along with it. So, what do you suggest I do to relax?
3. Time. Won't be much of an issue over summer vacation.
There are a few other minuscule problems that I won't dwell on.
So...now that I have the time, what does everyone recommend? I would prefer something a little softer, something that won't shake me to my core. Considering I've been hitting a rocky road with my mood recently I don't want something that will throw it all around and screw with it even more.
I've had my eye on more hallucinogenic doses, especially Speed (which, in all honesty, I'm a little scared to try.) but if you suggest something else I'm cool with that :)
Now I'm just going on and on and on. Hope to see some replies soon!

First I would recommend to work on your meditation skills as a beginner and try to use condition before. Doses that I would suggest are a-bomb, marijuana, codeine, peyote, nitrous and substance d. I found all of these to work on the first try. Also the mp3 packs are good because they provide an ambient background to make it more interesting. Good luck and be patient with it. Dosing can take a while to get the hang of.

Try all of the QuickHits, some of them worked for me, and they are only ten minutes too! :D
