Blood sugar control?

I have no idea if this is even possible, and now that I'm thinking about it, I suppose it could be lethal if it actually worked and it was misused, so I guess this is more of a question of possibility than a request, but....
I'm a type I diabetic. I'm in fairly good control of my diabetes, but on occasion I'll get that high I can't get rid of (for those who are clueless, this is a blood sugar high, and while that might sound nice, it's actually detrimental for a number of reasons and in no way enjoyable, so this is a BAD thing). It seems like there several doses that have a physiological effect, e.g. pain killers like Vico and Demerol, and more specifically Viagra (if it works, I haven't tried it yet ). Would it even be possible to synthesize brain waves that would lower blood sugar? As dangerous as this could be when misused, it would be really nice to take a dose and have it fix my blood sugar level when it's being obstinate
