Fleeting effects + Odd method of dosing?

Hello, all. I recently purchased the Heroin dose from the I-Doser site and tried it out at approx. 12 AM. I've tried it several times before, but with no results. This time was interesting, however. I want to say about 15 minutes into the dose, I began to slightly feel the effects, but they went away after a short while. This repeatedly happened throughout the duration of the dose. Towards the very end of the dose I started to feel pretty great, but then the dose ended. I don't know how long I was zoned out before I realized the dose was over, probably only a few seconds. So, during my experience, I actually found that I can feel the dose better if I allow my mind to wander, and then revert my attention back to the dose. That's when I really begin to feel the effects. Whenever I start to feel really good, though, I focus on the feeling and it quickly fades away. I've tried the same dose before while attempting to remain completely focused on the dose, but I find this either doesn't produce any effects, or my mind just begins to wander on its own anyway. Is this just placebo? It felt pretty accurate to me. I guess my question is, is the fading in and out of effects normal for novice users and does my method of allowing my mind to wander make any sense? Thanks.

Technically I'm not really "qualified" to give you sound advice on whether or not you're doing everything right because I've only been dosing for barely a couple of weeks but just recently I had my breakthrough and so far I've managed to get effects almost every time now.

I'm still experimenting on how to properly dose a bit but you are onto something there. I notice around the 10 minute mark is when my mind starts to wander and I find my brain starts to do as it pleases and it kinda does this vivid daydreaming type thing and that's when my body starts to get a nice buzz BUT it's like you also said if you focus on your body and analyze what you're feeling and if you're "high" or whatever. And the dose description, I seem to find myself trying to compare and look out for the effects which for some reason kills everything you were feeling I don't get that but the same thing happens to me.

I'm thinking it's all personal preference and each person is probably different some may be able to dose without focusing and some may have to count down or up etc. Myself I like to focus and count each breath and listen to the binaural beats(Dose) I also have experimented by mixing my own ambience tracks by recording them from the PC to use as MP3 Backgrounds when I dose and I still get effects actually my huge breakthrough with Neuroin had a ambience MP3 background and that felt amazing.

But my personal method how I get effects every time now is I do as I've always done with binaural beats or isochronic tones I basically meditate. I count each and every breath from 1 to 1000 or however far you get and not perfectly if you miss a number or skip ahead oh well I just simply focus on my breathing. When I find my mind wandering I try to hurry and get back to counting my breaths the past few times though I found that towards the end of my dosing sesh like the last 5 minutes of it my mind actually just completely went silent and I was able to soak up the buzz and sat there after the dose was done in awe because I felt really refreshed. You just gotta find what works best for ya but definitely try to just meditate if you can.

Anyways I've experienced everything that you're talking about whether it's all a placebo or not I don't know at first I thought it was I just wasn't feeling anything and when I was I would think too much on it and kill the effects by returning back to your normal beta "awake" state of mind. But I DO feel effects now and I've also noticed that when you keep doing the same dose you also start feeling it stronger basically you train your brain to get used to each dose. Just keep at it and remember it might be the dose alone the heroin one may not work for you, purchase another one. (Neuroin is a good one, the heroin one is decent but Neuroin is a little stronger and feels a little more like actually doing a baby hit of real heroin in MY opinion. Or even consider, Cheese that one was kinda intense it elevated my heart rate though which was weird.) Take it as it goes man I-Doser may or may not be for you.

Also I apologize if I didn't help or make much sense I too am basically a beginner to I-Doser but not to binaural beats. I hope you get a better answer if this doesn't help and good luck on future dosing. Peace out.

Yes! This is EXACTLY what happens to me! I think the trick is to not go out of your way to look for the dose effects, but when my mind begins to wander I sometimes can't help but have a quick "is this thing working?" thought.

I know what you mean, I think the fact that they name most of the doses after a real drug that it makes your expectations a little higher so you go into it thinking oh man it's gonna get me so high I can't wait to see what I'm gonna feel like and it's that overthinking process that prevents you from getting relaxed enough to let the binaural beats do their job. Another problem with this is when you listen to a dose and say right away you start going back on the internet, watch TV or play a game you'll pretty much end your body high as soon as you start doing things because your brain returns back to it's awake state of mind. Which is cool but that means some people may stay high for a good half hour and then some will only be high for maybe 5 minutes it also depends on the dose. But yeah this I-Doser isn't something that you can just jump into and dose every single time with success it's going to depend on you, and your mood and the day. I also find so far I don't feel anything spectacular and nothing that I haven't already felt with free binaural beats that you can find all over the internet. But I still enjoy it.

I do exactly the same thing too sometimes I get really impatient when I'm trying sit through the entire 30 minutes and sometimes the 45 minute doses... it can be really painstaking. Most of the time it's trial and error, I start to feel something and I end up getting distracted by the feeling and I muck it all up. Or something will end up ruining my dose like a dog outside will start barking or the wind, or even the TV in the next room. lol It sucks but if you have the patience for this it's quite worth that few minutes of feeling good... or if it didn't work just smoke a bowl afterwards at least you'll feel something then. :P

Anyways as they always say practice makes perfect and the same goes for I-Doser good luck man.

I just described this in my own post. It's kind of like you have to let go and give yourself over to it. If you get distracted or think about it, you lose it and have to build it back. I could only describe it as trying to reach orgasm.
