Come on staff, I know you can do it. I will be getting a macbook in a couple of months and I really want to carry this program over. It can't be that hard to make it compatible with the Mac. Plz look into this.

Yeah, I just heard about this and I'm really eager to try it out, but I'm on a Mac as well. Because it's a laptop, it's portable, so I would be able to bring this with me anywhere, like my bed ot get comfortable and administer said "doses".

Mr Mucha: Duh! The program is coded in Visual Basic 6.0
That's TOTALLY Microsoft's evil language
If it were coded in C++, they could have compiled it into Mac format, but...
Touche!

Ah, you mean like an "Emulator"?
I've got that on my Linux laptop as well
Running Ubuntu.
Thus, I haven't tried to use I-Doser with Wine or WineX yet, but I'll
try

I hate running it in paralles because i think the audio suffers because emulation is never like the original. it would be so much better to make it for mac too.

I too, MIGHT be getting a MacBookPro. I-Doser for Mac would be great!
I'm considering getting the computer, or an Orange amp. What do you think?

Since I have a mac, I downloaded Ecstasy as a MP3 file. Does this work as well as the actual program for PC-users?

How do you use WINE??
I don't know how to use it??
I really wanna use I-Doser on my new Mac Book Pro, mainly 'cuz I'm bored outta my skull.
WINE's very confusing. If someone could write me like a guide to use it that would be amazing! Thanks in advance!

WINE works on mac OS X
http://sourceforge.net/projects/darwine/, but I did mine on linux so I can't go through it word for word for you. What I did do was download and install microsoft's visual basic 6 runtime environment (available for free on the web), and then download and install i-doser version 3.0. Both installs were done using WINE via the
command line.
the above will run the install.exe file, much like double-clicking it in windows. If you don't know how to use the command line there may be programs that provide a graphical version of WINE, but I don't know of any.
I'm also going to try a version 4 install soon, once exams are over. I'll let you know how it goes.

I'm a Mac developer, and if I knew how to read .drg files to audio, I'd be able to easily make a Mac version.
The only problem is I have no idea how to turn .drg into audio.
