My Dose Experiences (So Far)
Posted: Sun Jun 24, 2007 9:13 pm
For the record, I have done almost all types of actual drugs, more than a handful of times, though do not use drugs regularly (except for good quality alcohol and Jamaican sess - I'm very sensitive), and have never had an addiction problem.
So far, I have tried the following I-doser doses:
Content
Does precisely what the description promises, PLUS helps to relieve hangovers (for me)! After this session, my mood was stable and calm, and I felt relieved of any anxiety, stress, or emotional pain. Totally excellent dose.
Opium
The first time I tried this was with a friend. We both felt a powerful sense of weightlessness, euphoria, analgesia, and detachment. Very intense.
French Roast
Definitely works similarly to a strong cup of good coffee.
5HTP
Helps to fight off depressive feelings and alleviate insomnia, of which I am a life-long sufferer. Works wonders for my wired brain.
Cocaine
Unfortunately this one uses up too much of my reserve energy and leaves me slightly jittery. (It therefore works best when I'm rested.) I did find that some of the effects were comparable to those of actual cocaine. That includes increased energy and pleasure of physical sensations. Some of you may know that on cocaine things like a cool breeze will feel incredibly nice. Well, this dose gives me a similiar effect.
Heroin
When I was 16 (nine years ago), someone slipped heroin into a joint that I smoked. It was the most terrifying experience I've ever had. It felt like reality was falling one way, and I was falling the other way. I grabbed onto my then boyfriend and clung on for dear life. He felt like a tree! The tighter I held, the more like a tree trunk he felt! But this didn't last. I have no idea why that happened, as it's not like the reported effects of heroin that I know of, but some did say it sounded about right. Let me just say that this dose didn't do anything of the sort. It only made me feel slightly floaty and relaxed. BUT I am still yet to try it again (only did so once).
Sleeping Angel
A wonder-dose for insomniacs. Worked very well in relaxing my body and mind enough for me to be able to fall asleep easily.
Dexies
Felt similar to my demon drug, Dextroamphetamine (Dexedrine). This is the only drug with which I've ever had anything close to a problem. A former friend of mine had a prescription for it and I just threw myself at it until I was too wrecked a week later. That happened a few times, not just once, but I never developed a long-term problem. I do still crave it sometimes, but not strongly enough to have ever sought it out. This dose at first made me feel sleepy - very, very sleepy - but then put me into a state of sharp mental focus and increased mental fortitude and steadiness, as well as increased my physical energy. Did not sketch me out like it warns in the description, but made me feel very, very good and very, very stable. That, however, is likely due to my history with the actual drug.
Hash
Superb sense of calm, deep mental focus, and euphoria. Very similar to actual hash, in my opinion.
Alcohol
Made me feel very good. I did get a slight sense of nausea for a moment, but it passed without consequence. Overall elevated mood.
QuickHappy
Again, I will vouch for the effectiveness of this one. EXTREMELY useful little dose. Re-stabilises you when you feel down or drained, or both.
Reset
I love this feature. Takes the edge off the adverse effects of using the wrong dose at the wrong time (i.e., like using a stimulant dose when your body is exhausted or whatever). Also, it is indeed a good buffer between doses.
Orgasm
This did not give me an orgasm. However, I did feel aroused and a few times experienced contractions of my vaginal muscles. Was not thinking about sex. Was listening to the sound, only, so as to gauge the raw effects. HOWEVER the problem in this case was with my headphones. I realised too late into the recording that the sound was not coming through very well on the right side. By the time I fixed the problem (loose cable, sheesh!!!), it was too late into the session and I did not have the patience to start over. Another time. If it works, I'll tell you about it. (Btw, I didn't realise the sound was partly cut off because the volume was too low. Go figure.)
Marijuana
This dose definitely worked for me. I always wait until AFTER finishing the session to determine the effectiveness of the dose. After this session, my mental state was definitely comparable to that induced by marijuana. I felt relaxed, stable, and a general feeling of well-being. My mind was focused and carefree, which is the effect marijuana has on me. I don't buy into the ridiculous subculture that has developed around pot smoking worldwide, and don't view marijuana as just a stupid drug on which to just "get stoned". I always say, If you treat it like a drug, it will treat you like a drug user, and the same goes for any substance. I view marijuana as a powerful antidepressant, painkiller, hangover cure, short-term mental and physical performance enhancer (which it is if you don't just smoke yourself to oblivion), anti-stress and anti-anxiety agent, and a tool for gaining access to the nether regions of your mind, which can then be tackled. To be unprepared for or ignorant of the nature of the effects of marijuana and other drugs is to be subject to the negative aspects of your mind. (For example, MJ does not make you paranoid or self-conscious for no reason; it simply brings out your unresolved issues, full force, and you can either muster your will and work through them, or give in, every time).
Has anyone else had this degree of success?
As I've already mentioned in another thread, I have ALWAYS had immense success with binaural beats. My experiences with the I-Doser are no exception, and have been by far among the most powerful. I don't think about anything during the sessions, just clear my mind, close my eyes, relax my body (often lying on an excercise mat on the floor), and listen deep (i.e., get lost in the sound). I have experimented long and hard enough to be able to speak to the subject; I have learned to create simple yet highly effective sessions myself (which work even on those who are not given a description of the session's purpose, btw), as well as have contact with others who know what they're doing with the technology to a significant degree. We can tell you that this is not a placebo effect, though if a person thinks about a particular effect during a session, they will of course detract from the recording's effectiveness and induce their own effects, (because the mind is a lot more receptive during the controlled states induced by entrainment.)
