its will make your head hurt BAD & is less of a trip then i-dosers "trip" dose.
one day me & a friend was board, he had no weed or any cig's after he got his cat goofy on lots of catnip it would not shut up so he put it in the bassment & we could still hear it upstairs. we wondered if it made the cat flip out if it would make us trip so we smoked a joint size & it made us both feel like crap & was NOT worth it .
also other friends have reported the samething= head ack & no trip

Cats freak out over it because it mimics the cat's sex hormone.

If you can handle some smoke, you won't get a headache. and actually, if you smoke about 3 joints or a couple bowls, you can start feeling pretty stoned.

^Pure placebo. Do any amount of research and you'll find that it doesn't affect humans in any psychoactive way.

Try smoking a pure catnip extract, and tell me its placebo.

^Try doing some research and find me the pharmokinetics of "catnip". Oh wait, you can't because it isn't active in humans.

You mean "pharmacokinetics"? If you're going to try to prove me wrong about something, please try to get your spelling right.
And this is a topic I found on the matter.
"Nepetalactones are structurally similar to the active constituents of valerian (Valeriana officinalis), valepotriates, and thus might exert their effects through similar mechanisms, but this has not yet been demonstrated . Actinidine is a psychoactive alkaloid that interferes with GABA-ergic metabolism; it is a naturally occuring ligand (agonists) on benzodiazepine receptors and thus exhibit allosteric modulation of the GABA-receptor-proteins.
Liitle information is available concerning the pharmacodynanamics and pharmacokinetics of the nepetalactones. Long-term administration of the nepeta oil in mice resulted in induced tolerance to stereotypical behaviour, increased sleeping time and catalepsy. 8 Tolerance exhibited during cognitive performance- tests in rats. 7
Actinidine and iridomyrmecine apparently occur in Californian ants from the Myrmacomecocystus family (the first as a toxin, the second as a pheromone)."

^Being tired does not equal being high
Just because something has mild GABAergic effects doesn't mean that it will get you high. The "high" you're experiencing is mild sedation and the power of suggestion.

Smoking anything at all will make you feel lethargic and tired from the carbon monoxide that comes along with smoke. (which some people would consider as feeling "high")
So if you say your smoking a couple of bowls or
3 joints of catnip you've got to realize the most your getting out of that is
lung damage. You can have all the fun you want with that circa, but don't go spreading your ignorance onto others.

Yes, it said it was mildly GABAergic, meaning it might make you yawn a bit.
