So it seems that someone in Florida someone has set up a fentanyl operation and is flooding the heroin market. If you don't know, fentanyl is an extremely potent opioid. By extremely potent, I mean dosage is in micrograms. So what these people do is make a batch of fent and cut it with sucrose to roughly the strength of heroin. Essentially, they get about 100X more volume than the volume of fent they make, so it's very lucrative. The only problem is that the dilution isn't exact. A couple ug in the wrong direction and the user is dead. Hooray War on Drugs!

Never heard of fentanyl. I live up north in virginia, a bunch of elderly where i live. No kids playing in streets and drugs with kids in the streets. I wish i lived down there, maybe i could find a more reasonable trade than sitting on the rig everyday.

Yeah... Do you know how many people marijuana has killed? 0. That's right, not a single person has ever died from smoking too much reefer, not one. Ever.

How many people has alcohol killed? Over 100,000! Cigarettes? 400,000! One thing you learn is that Americans are very good at killing themselves.

The war on drugs was never about safety. It was about rich white Christians' moral beliefs. And now we waste billions of dollars each year fighting what will never be stopped. Can you say trillion dollar defecit? Horaay for the war on drugs...
