heyall,
I'm new to i-doser but it seems to be working pretty well. I tried French roast this morning and I'm not sure if it was just a placebo effect, but it worked. This evening I tried Quick Happy and I thought it didn't work, but as soon as I started typing something I had to laugh. When my cousin said 'cookie' I literally ROFL'ed
I might try some heavier ones tomorrow.
Greets!

I tried french roast a few days ago because i was dead tired, and it worked great, for about two hours then BANG i was dead again. I though "well thats fine, I just have to go again", but alas, my enthusiasm killed the dose

I tried some with my cousin today, content worked extremely well on my cousin (especially because he felt angry because he had to go to school again soon, lol ). He even tripped over the headphone wire, fell on the floor quite hard and started laughing, lol
. Nitrous doesn't seem to have any effect on both of us, except for the dizzy part.
Edit: And uhm, by the way, would it work better if you have the visualisations on, or just lights turned off and lay down?

Oh and uhm, how do you guys stay focused on the sounds? 'Cause I keep thinking of other things while listening
Damn, I wish those doses didn't last so long 30 minutes.. argh

I'm used to staying focused because I used to meditate often.
However, I find that counting from 1-100 and then back from 100-1 repeatedly helps with concentration.

At Night time, with no lights on , just lay there on a couch or bed for about 5 mins and count slowly from 100 backwards until 5 mins is up , try breathing slowly and rhythmically. Then after that grab your laptop, ipod or whatever it is you use, put it on and start the dose. Do the same thing you just did for 5 minutes while listening to the dose and try to stay completely still and dont open your eyes every 2 mins, maybe every 5 or so...
Anyways thats what helps me use idoser. Hope this helps.
OPTIONAL: If you have reset, listen to it before you start a dose, it helps you focus more and it calms you down after laying there for 20 mins

So just counting in your head will still make the dose work? As you're not really concentrated on the sounds, but on the counting..
Please answer, cause I think I'll try content again.
Thanks for your help.

I think you just have to concentrate on whatever is easierst to concentrate on (like with meditation)
I usually just concentrate on my breathing

I tried quickhappy today while counting, had some effect, but didn't last long. (Well, quickhappy's only 5 minutes so.. )

Goddamnit,
suddenly realised I have a EQ-thingy enabled for the past 4 days. It takes out the lower tones so I won't hear them.. Damn, I did 2x quickhappy, 1x nitrous, 1x content and 1x lucid dreaming in those 4 days..

And uhm, it usually takes me one to two hours to fall asleep, should I purchase Sleeping Angel or Insomniac?

Insomniac will keep u dead for 10-12 hrs minimum ... was 14 hrs for me ... i have the same problem u have ... sleeping angel gave me a good trip instead of some sleep....
.... i'm not complaining though...
