Opinions, thanks

I'm new here. And I was quick to jump on the bandwagon and I started out assuming that they all worked. (I'm not this easily swayed to anything, I just figured there was no point in being skeptical- like with many things it only lessens the chances that it will actually work. Many tests have shown that people who believe ESP is possible score significantly higher than those who believe it is impossible... though both score extremely high against chance, + or - . Anyways, that's another forum.)
So I tried cocaine first. Nothing really happened but I had crummy headphones and the phone rang twice during the Dose. So I decided to try peyote. I felt good. My body was tingling. My mind was working well and clear. I had visualizations behind my eyelids, but no outward hallucinations like you'd expect from Peyote. And this one I did perfect- relaxed and comfortable with total concentration and studio-monitering headphones. Needless to say, although I felt good, I was not entirely satisfied. So immediately after Peyote I put on A-Bomb. There were definate effects. The fuzziness. But I was dissapointed by that one. The whole time feeling like I was leading up to something huge but then it never came. Just fizzled away at the end.
I am about to try Hand of God. If the effects aren't good then I will do it two or three times in a row.
So far I haven't experienced anything, or read anyone elses experiences, that suggest anything other than suggestion. If I tell you (in the right way) that you are about to have a headache, you will get a headache. Whether or not you believe me (works on about 75% of people). That's suggestion.
It seems psychosomatic. Things happen because you want them to. It's like a sensory deprivation chamber or common meditation (with the dose being a sort of mantra.)
People who've had good experiences with doses should try setting up the same conditions under which the dose worked, and simply concentrate on willing themselves to have the same effects they desire. Just pretend you're getting a "dose" but don't plug in the headphones. See what happens. It's called mediation. If you get good at this you can trip out waaaay better. but it takes a long time and discipline.
I'm not saying that these can't work. I've done similar things in the past with brain-wave synchronizers and all that sort of thing. My "doses" worked about the same. People who like the idea of getting high without drugs should check out Persinger and Koren's God Helmet (google it. or Koren Helmet, or Shakti Helmet to buy one). It works sort of the same way, but takes the sound signal and sends them to magnets on your head, which are basically speakers without the speakers. And the magnetic stimulation is supposed to stimulate your brain patterns and all that jazz. It's been scientifically tested with some astounding conclusions. Persinger and Koren are actual respected doctors in the scientific community. (not that the i-doser people aren't, but they don't really say who they are.)
After I try Hand of God I will try it with the Shakti Helmet at the same time, set to the mode where people have reported to "talk to god."
That's all I have to say for now, and probably everything I'll ever have to say about I-doser... unless Hand of God is at least 2000 times better than the combination of Peyote and A-bomb.
