Couldn't you take a dose that is supposed to help you concentrate, and then take the actual dose for max effect?
if so what would be the best one to try out.

well thats kind of an...well i can't think of the workd but it wouldnt be any better than just listening to a ligh dose to get used to the beats

Ah.. is that why people say to try taking French Roast or Nitrous first, than take a Reset, than do the dose that you want to take, to get used to the beats?

never heard of french roaost or nitrous then reset, but that would be a good idea. also yeah thats the point of doing that.

I think its alpha, then your dose
You want to piggyback the first dose so you can concentrate on the second.
