Realistic Quality of Doses

I believe the research behind binaural beats and that with willingness you can change the frequency of your brainwaves. But, is it safe to say that the marijuana dose is the same as the real thing? Binaural beats expose you to a frequency that your brain should latch on to, but is it realistic to say that you can "simulate" the effects of THC with binaural beats? I mean yes you can change your brainwave frequencies but sound can't create chemicals can it? Or is it the stimuli that can influence your brain produce chemicals?
I'm sure that this jumps all over the place, but any comments?

No, it doesn't cause the same effects. THC is chemical and it attatches to cannibinoid receptors in the brain, binaural beats do not contain these chemicals (although they can increase production of endogenous chemicals), they just use frequencies that are similar to effects of drugs and name it after what they are trying to mimic.
If that was hard to understand - They pick a drug, look at it's effects, and then pick frequencies corresponding to those effects. So maybe they pick frequencies for euphoria and some other stuff. Then they name it after that drug because theoretically the effects should be very close. BUT, since there are no chemicals there is always a certain "piece" missing to the experience.
