well, there's you...and me...and the millions of americans that want it legalize. the problem is the other 100million americans or so that don't want it legalized, and they're spent too much making it seem so awful it would look stupid to legalize it...however i think they should. tak it, ablish the debt and provide free healthcare. in a nutshell, that is.

dude yeah pot should be legalized... i wouldn't move to amsterdam to have it legalized though. but it would be cool if someone could get a nation-wide petition going.

its these fucking old-ass conservatives, I'm a conservative but I don't believe in banning fucking marijuana its not even really a drug.

I read somewhere that the movie reefer madness was propaganda to make weed illegal. I am a part-time film-maker (its a hobby). maybe I should make a film about how its good for you...lol

That's pretty contractadictory, why God forbid them to get elected if they have the chance of legalizing marijuana?

thats pretty racist ur saying if we hat a black president he would make drugs legal.

i think they should be, because if you want to harm yourself, you have the right to by word of the constitution. its the same thing with suicide. if you get caught triing, your jailed. if someone wants to harm them selves, which it doesnt even do, they under law have the right, so you shouldnt get in trouble for it.

I wish every single person apposing legalization would try it for themselves. But pot was banned for a stupid reason anyways, there was all this crap going around how pot would make a black man look at a white woman twice, or something like that. It was all racist opinions that do not commonly exist today. Many people have forgotten why they are fighting to keep marijuana illegal. I mean they don't ban smoking, one of my friends says this "You have two lungs, but a million brain cells" Many stoners in my math class do better than others on tests (they don't turn in any homework but they keep themselves afloat with better test scores) Watch "Super High Me" brings some actual facts into the matter.

With time, bills take years to get into law.

Well, I'm an anarchist (but a peaceful one :]) so I have two different views on this. In all honestly, I don't think there should any laws, government, etc. But, since we do have these things and the vast majority don't think like me, I'd have to compromise. I feel that a good compromise would be to legalize it, but it should be smoked in your own home, making it a victimless act. It has similar harmful effects to your health as cigarettes, but also has different ones, and I feel both are equally (or at least close to equally) dangerous to a human, meaning it should be legalized. And yeah, having some trouble focusing right now, so I'll stop there =]

nicotine and alcohol have worse negative side affects IMO so at a minimum I think marijuana should be 21+ with the same restrictions as alcohol.

I think that 21 is a bit high, it's really not that dangerous, but it would be great if they at least legalized it at some age.

if they did legalize it it would have to be at least 18. 21 is a bit much yea but they wont be able to go lower than 18
