m not new to brainwaves but not experienced at same time (have not had any experience at all apart from dentist preset)..

I have always blamed it on headsets.. becasue I have noticed.. no matter how good quality headsets u buy, u will have some of left side sound come into right ears and vice versa...

Any opinion and tips guys???

Hi Ethan,

u replied withing 15 mins of my post and whether comments was sarcastic or not, I just love quick responses :D

Let me add some history to make my Question more sensible... Just like I-Doser, there is another product in market.. called brainwave generator.. I buyed that and experimented a lot with that.. but never got desired results... Dentists was one of the presets (equivalent to dose here) which made me feel like I was being treated by dentist (my mistake.. I assumed that as it is a similar program, enthusiasts might have tried both).

In Bwgen (brainwave generator), when u start configuring, it does a test to make sure sound for left ear does not come from right earphone and vice vera.. and even with high quality headsets (nope, I havent tried bose as I cant afford them) I could hear little sound from from both earplugs..

SO i thought as base of these beats is superimposition of waves, if it is not happening correctly.. chances are it will not work.

So this question.. Hope I am making more sense! If not please feel free to ask what you need to know specifically!

I was going to post a sarcastic remark. But it seems Ethan beat me to it.

Headphones/earplugs aren't the problem unless they're busted. I use a pair of shitty earplugs and they work fine. Read the "How to get dose working 100% of the time" thread stickied at the top of this forum.

Any headset with two phones and a stereo plug will have 100% stereo separation.

The problem lies in your soundcard and not your headset. You either have a shitty soundcard or it has some sort of 3D effect turned on. If it doesn't have any effects on and you still hear sound out of both channels when you're only supposed to hear from one, try an Audigy 2. They're cheap nowadays and still good quality.

PS. Bose is junk.
