What personally works for you?
Just copy and paste into your answer...
1. Lights on or off?
1.
2. Eyes closed or open?
2.
3. Thinking or blanking out?
3.
4. Concentrating or drifting?
4.
5. Sitting down or laying down?
5.
6. Earphones or headphones? (Do earphones work at all??)
6.
I-Doser hasn't worked for me yet, and I'm trying to figure out how to optimize my experience so that it will and I won't waste too much time and money on 30 minutes of nothing.
Thank you for your help!!!

Earphones work too if they don't fall out of your ears.
The rest of the advice is right.

Now that I think about it:
Lights off (cover your eyes with a blanket or something if it's daylight)
Eyes closed
Blanking out
Drifting
Laying down
Headphones
This topic made me think what works best for me, thanks Pollard Lawson

1. Lights on or off?
1. Off, since my eyes seem to tense up to block out light if they're on
2. Eyes closed or open?
2. Closed
3. Thinking or blanking out?
3. Blanking out
4. Concentrating or drifting?
4. Just let the dose do what it wants, basically
5. Sitting down or laying down?
5. Laying down
6. Earphones or headphones? (Do earphones work at all??)
6. Earphones, but the kind that have rubber that plugs your ears and blocks out all other sound
