All of the doses that I've used seem to sound pretty much the exact same with the wavy thing. is this normal?

also, would bose noise canceling headphones be okay or would I lose most of the effect? and i wanted to bring this on my i-pod to school but would they still work?

They sound similar, as for the the most part they change your hz levels up or down so there isn't lots of different sounds that accompany this!

Headphones should be ok

and you will need the mp3s to put onto an iPod.
