Hello guys. I am new at this forum and to iDoser. I just knew iDoser a few days ago. I've tried several doses, some light one like content, and french toast. Then this day, I took marijuana and orgasm.
I seem can't get those doses work. I know this may be because of my headphones. They are stereo, but they are not too expensive as those crystal clear headphones (but I heard any stereo headphone will work). I already try different positions. From sitting and close my eyes, till lay on the floor while closing my eyes. They are not working.
Can you help me?
Anyway, I never take any kinds of drug. I tried marijuana and I feel my eyes are a little hot. Is it a kind of effects? Thank you.

Just focus on the beats and just let your mind drift off into it. If you count down from a number (200 or more), you will eventually drift into the dose and get some effects. If you don't, keep trying

Thank you. But if I count backwards, I will concentrate to the numbers, not the sound, right? I also would like to ask. My PC is not located near bed, sofas, or anything good to lie down, but I can lie down on the floor (I get used to this). Is it affecting the dose?

i lay down on my couch. cuz im too lazy to move my laptop to my bedroom and plug it back in and all. plus if im on the couch i can sit up after the dose and turn on the tv. if you have nowhere else to go other than the floor, lay down on the floor. i would get a blanket/sleeping bag/comforter and a pillow or two to make yourself more comfortable. if you're uncomfortable, you'll probably be thinking about that and it'll distract you. for me its not so much thinking about other things as focusing on other things. i try to make my main focus the beats or the white noise but other thoughts pop in and out of my head. they come and go quickly and do not seem to hinder the effectiveness. I wouldn't really try to concentrate too hard, just let the beats flow through you. i think its a big misconception that you have to remain completely focused on the beats. when doing drugs your obviously going to have other thoughts going through your head other than 'oh shit this is great' relax and let yourself experience the dose. even if you get no effects, which has happened to me a few times, laying quietly for 30-45 minutes can have a very therapeutic effect. i think my best advice would be don't expect it to work and don't expect it to not work, just let it flow. just because you don't noticeably feel anything does not necessarily mean that the dose has not worked. often times i notice the effects such as when effectively taking a hallucinatory dose (in my experience peyote is best for this. but i have only tried trip and peyote as far as hallucinatory doses go, trip has had little to no effect for me personally, i'll probably get some other hallucinogenic doses in the future.) obviously a hallucination will provide an extremely noticeable effect. when doing non-hallucinogenic doses there are more shades of gray. maybe you do the opium dose and don't think you feel any different afterwards, but the subtlety of the dose makes it seem normal and natural that you are a bit happier and see things with a bit more of a ray of sunshine as it were. i've heard that some people only experience effects during the dose although that has never been the case for me. sometimes i'll lay there for a few minutes before i even notice that the dose has finished and then the effects will really kick in five to ten minutes after the dose has finished. Then the effects will last between ten minutes and a few hours depending on the dose. for example an effective marijuana dose kicked in around five minutes after i finished the dose and lasted for about 90 minutes after that. an effective heroin dose will usually kick in as im finishing the dose if it has not made me pass out before finishing. the effects from that dose will be fairly short and usually make me pass out within 30 minutes. each dose is different... you need to find doses that work for you. trip doesn't do anything for me, but peyote does...
as far as headphones go, i believe any stereo headphones will work. binaural beats do not work on the extremely low levels of sound that actually induce the brainwave frequencies in the brain, as these frequencies are not audible to humans and would most probably not be recognized by human ears. binaural beats work by sending one frequency into the left ear and a slightly different frequency into the right ear. such as 500hz into the left and 505hz into the right. these frequencies meet in the brain as 5hz, the difference between the frequencies. that is a frequency well below human capacity. i postulate that the only benefit of using high quality headphones is that they eliminate outside noise which could possibly take away from the dose effectiveness. if you're in a quiet environment with no distractions there should not be much of a difference.
one thing that i believe may be a problem for you, ivantoar, is the lack of experience. i-doser is meant to simulate an experience. i no longer do drugs other than alcohol and nicotine. but i have done other drugs in the past. i believe that the binaural beats may act as a trigger to get back to the state of mind induced by the drug. the power of the human mind is unlimited. i say this because some of my experiences with i-doser have been extremely close to an actual drug experience even though the dose did not correspond to the drug experience i felt. of course when this happened the drugs in question were not radically different, they were in fact very similar. my hallucinogenic experiences with the peyote dose were fairly similar to my experiences with salvia. I have smoked salvia numerous times but i have never ingested peyote. I do not know the pharmacological differences between these two substances but i do know that the trips are characterized very differently. salvia is an immediate onset extremely intense drug with a short duration. peyote is a slow onset intense drug with a long duration. when i've done the peyote dose i had a medium onset (5-10 minutes as oppossed to the 5-10 seconds onset of salvia) an extremely intense effect and a fairly short duration( salvia has about a five minute duration although it seems like an hour, while the peyote dose had a longer duration than salvia would but i pulled myself out of the dose when i started to freak out, so the duration was longer than salvia, but not even close to the numerous hours peyote is supposed to produce) so i would always think that doses have a shorter duration than the actual drug. this is reinforced by the fact that the marijuana dose, although it lasted for a good while, it was much shorter than actually smoking.
since you have never experienced any drugs, i dont really know how the doses will effect you. in the immortal words of hunter s thompson, i would never advocate drugs, alcohol or violence to anyone, but they've always worked for me.
i would keep at it, read the FAQ about getting the doses to work and not expect to get crazy effects right away, a lot of people need to try upwards of twenty times before they get any effects. it's really like anything else, you need to practice to get good at it.
p.s. your eyes getting hot... that doesn't sound anything like my experiences with marijuana (the dose or the actual drug) and a few beers usually makes the effects a lot stronger for me personally.
