Sennheiser CX 400 earphones

Hello guys,

it is almost christmastime and i am going to ask new earphones.
I was wondering if these earphones are good? Please tell me.
The reason why i ask this is because i dont know what hz means.

well...the earphones i-doser recommends have kinda the same Hz then theese...so...in my op. i think they will work grate.

The combination is with an ipod. :)
So that will work fine?/ferfect?
