Beginner's Dose?

Hi, I would like to get a recommendation on what dose or doses would be the best to start with.
I am someone that have been always careful with drugs and i don't want to rush things and end up having a bad experience.
What doses would you recommend me to start with, and what "heavier" doses should i try if the lighter ones aren't working.
I wanna start with something effective but not too hard.
