Melding minds for creativity

I've been doing doses for a while but this is my first post on here. My question is what is the best way to get a few people into the same state of mind for the purpose of creativity? In my case, it's music. I want to be disciplined about this.

Anything with lots of emotion and feeling. Elliot Smith, Love, John Frusciante, Joy Division, Velvet Underground it changes a lot though
