Concentration Techniques?

I've been using I-doser for a very short time, and I have to say that I love it, but I was wondering if anybody uses any concentration techniques other than counting backwards? Counting backwards does seem to work, but I was wondering if there would be a way to get more out of my dose by trying a different technique? If anybody uses an alternative technique, feel free to post :D

As long as you concentrate it should be no different.
Some people count their breaths. You could count the tones.

You could listen to sounds within the sounds "this sounds like pacman" or "hey, is that a car?"

I don't think its paranormal, its only during the cocaine dose, never during nitrous. And its not a lot of times during cocaine, just occasionally.
Its probably just my imagination anyways

...Thats what EVP is. Its a phenomena where your brain heres a sound, and it reminds it of another sound, and it convinces you that you heard that sounds.
Not paranormal ghostbusters stuff.
