While playing around with it, I noticed an option to put on visualizations on the application. Does watching the visualization help with concentrating, or does it hinder the experience?

Helps you concentrate and most likely get better effects. Are you using the pop and play method, or the traditional method?

Traditional method: When you play the dose, lying or sitting down in a comfortable place, with your eyes closed and typically counting down from a random 3 digit number.

Pop and Play: Listening to a dose while doing something else such as homework or reading an article etc, typically with this method your eyes are opened and you might be in a less comfortable place.

You get better effects with the traditional method, but it's just so damn inconvenient to sit somewhere with your eyes closed for 10-45 minutes.

Yeah, and even still, doing it eyes open makes it weaker, but you deffinitely still can get strong effects.

I do the traditional method, sorta. Counting backwards isn't helpful for me, so instead I just imagine the sounds as a wave, like sometimes spinning around my head. I'm not always laying down but I do make sure I'm comfortable.

I tried plug and play but it just made me feel paranoid having my eyes open..

Paranoid? Weird. What dose did you do it with?

It wasn't the noise that made me paranoid so much as sitting in the dark with just white noise and my laptop light, it just...ugh it made me feel like I was being watched, it probably had nothing to do with the dose.

I AM a paranoid person so...
