Beginner Doses

I've just gotten the iDoser program, and I was able to get some very mild alcohol effect. Content, however, did nothing.

I'm willing to buy a few doses. A friend of mine who apparently owns all or most of the doses (he has quite the collection) had me try out a few - LSD, Cocaine, MarijuanaQH - which did nothing.

I don't know if it's my headphones - there's an occasional crackling sound when I listen to the doses, I don't know if that's supposed to be there, but it happens on several pairs of headphones - or if I'm just not used to it or something. Either way, I'd like to know what are some good beginner doses? I'm willing to buy a few, just to get into it.

Beginners doses are Nitrous, Marijuana, MarijuanaQH, Cocaine, CocaineQH ....
Nitrous maybe doesn't work for you because many users that have effects with almost every dose wrote that with nitrous they had none, so don't worry if the dose doesn't "work".

The headphones should be in the range of 18Hz - 21,000Hz .

Probably the crackling sound is due to the computer.
You have to close almost all the programs because they use memory and i-doser can't work good.

The crackling sounds is caused by the runtime memory being sucked up by other programs; I-doser then lags, making your dose slow up, and it makes a crackling sound. If it occurrs, shut down a program you don't need, and continue to dose.

Don't worry about headphone capabilities, as most will work. Just get a decent set and make sure they're stereo.

Hmmm...That could be why.
I never had the crackling on my monstrous gaming PC (8GB RAM tends to do be more than enough for anything), which is the only place I've felt the effect.

When I use my laptop, it does crackle, no matter how many processes I kill. Maybe I should get the MP3 files from I Doser and use an iPod...

They work, but they didn't work as well for me as the ones from the dose store (.drg)
I would look up a tutorial on converting to WAV and stick a couple of your favorite purchases onto your iPod/mp3 player.

Some people say that I-doser works on mp3's and I agree somewhat, but the effects aren't fully there. You miss a lot of sounds. Try WAV, or FLAC.

I would pick WAV over FLAC solely because FLAC files are very large. However, they are good quality.

I am, too, a newbie I-Doser. I tried CocaineQH last night and it worked pretty well for my first time.

I didn't feel anything durring the dose, but I got alot of energy after it. I was also alot happier, and was smiling just because. I was watching Shane, an old western, because I need to do an essay for it. It was verry interesting untill the dose wore off :P

So I suggest using that. I'm going for the MarijuanaQH tonight, and I guess I'll finish Shane tonight. Anways, good luck hesham8!

I'm sorry, this is your second incorrect post about Wav files. They DO fit on an iPod, and Flac is lossless and is more compressed than WAV. Quality-wise they are the same. FLAC is smaller file sizes.
