When im in the middle of listening i sometimes look deep at my eye lids and think randomly trying to make things appear as a deep vivid mental picture. I also use my ipod when doing this, is that just as effective as using a headset? and should I be more consentrating on the sounds and when its over open my eyes to start having the effects? or should I notice them clearly while listening.

You should notice the effects when you are listening and most doses effect you after listening too.

What do you mean you use your ipod whilst doing "this?" If you mean that you're attempting to dose eyes open, without getting any doses to work prior to the attempt, and playing on your ipod, then you are greatly decreasing your chances of getting a dose to work in the first place.

If you mean ipod earbuds compared to a headset, go with the headset. Ipod earbuds are cheap peices of crap.

Some doses you will feel effects whilst listening, some you will feel effects after. Some only have effects whilst you listen, and then have no after effects. You just gotta find out for yourself. We all have different reactions.

Right, however WAV is a very valid format.

But the official mp3 packs are ok as mp3
