Some clarifications

I've never thought that I would be one of the lucky few who can benefit and experience lucid dreaming, trances, deep meditation, etc. without taking any drugs. I've always been extremely jealous of the people who could, and perhaps its because I don't have enough patience.
Then I discovered I-doser and all of its doses.
One fact which I find strange is that there is no "beginners guide" or "recommended starting doses" on this site, but instead hundreds of posts asking for the same questions. From my research and the wonderful "search" function of this forum, I learnt that CocainQH is one of the best starting doses. Then I also learnt that you need the "right" earphones.
However, how do you know if your earphones are the right ones?
Which stats must they have to work?
Could simply checking if each ear can play different sounds of the same song at the same time? I.e. a song which has a guitar playing only in one side, and hence you can check if your headphones only play the guitar in that one side.
And then, perhaps a stupid question, but how do you "concentrate" on the sound/dose? I always end up thinking about "oh, I hope I'll feel this way," "oh, I'm lying here waiting for something to happen." When ever my mind randomly thinks of something else, I quickly realize and get back into thinking about what I'm trying to achieve.
Is it best when done in the dark, and lying down?
thanks alot!
