Gate of Hades experience & advice request :D

Here we go. Another Gate of Hades victim
Well, not exactly a victim, i'll redo it someday.
I regret not filming me... it would have been funny.
Ok, the experience...
At first nothing happened, as usual. Then the first time the sound changed, i started breathing really fast, while my heart as well was beating really fast.
And, you know... I started crying, sweating, i unconsciously tensed all the muscles, i didnt know what happened to my eyes, they were moving on their own (i was keeping them closed).
I felt like the bed was... waving under me, like sea...
Not to mention when the evil crackling sound started...
My family kept me in the real world (i was alone in my bedroom, but i could hear them moving, or going to bathroom sometimes), so i didnt have any hallucination.
I did it all the way till the end, and it was one of the scariest thing in my life, but i'll definitely do it again, with some friends and a camera
I hope knowing how the sound will change won't spoil the fun
Anyway, any good advice on how to go to a "REM-like state" while listening, to actually have hallucinations or to feel like being trapped into a nightmare?
