people say they've gotten warm and fuzzy feelings from it and are comforted, but in that you may be freaked out about it it can be scary i guess. Can't say myself though as my mind hasn't adapted to idoser yet as I bought it yesterday.
my only advise is go with that over hades gate if you want something less scary.

yes, so go with hand of god. sorry if I didn't convey that right. I meant go with hands of god over gates of hades if you want a good feeling. GoH does seem scary as hell, i wouldn't do it w/o ppl around me to help me if I need it.

I wouldn't say it's necessarily scary, but it's intense. Just make sure if you do it to turn your phone off, cuz I did it with one of my friends and about 80% into it he got a text and it scared the shit out of him. It really puts you into a trance more than any others. If you want to avoid being scared just make sure there's nothing or no one that can startle you.

Actually, the official MP3/CD version, under sacred simulations pack 1, is a legal way to get GoH / HoG cheaper. ( 16.95 for MP3, 19.95 for CD, through
http://sites.fastspring.com/idoser/product/mp3 and 9.99 through itunes )
Any other ways of getting it cheaper, are not legal.

Well, I did Hand Of God once, and it scared the living hell out of me. I was just SUPER paranoid about almost everything, and I thought I was going to be dragged to Hell because of all the wrong I have done in this world
