It's music. Do you get scared listening to lady gaga? Are you afraid of the dark?

Yes and yes. You chose two really bad examples dude. Besides, people aren't afraid of the dark, they're afraid of what's in it. I wouldn't really say that binaural beats are music, either. For the purpose of making people feel safe while doing them I suppose you can, but otherwise that would be incorrect.

Really? Because I think your wrong. People are afraid of what they don't know; its why people are afraid of dying, and why people are afraid of new things, they don't know. We don't know whats in the dark; nothing? a guy with a gun?...we don't know. If people aren't scared of the dark wouldn't it make sense for them to be scared all the time of what they are "actually scared of" like you say?

Second, binaural beats have beats. The most important thing in music last time I checked, was beats. Maybe you think this is the whole rectangle/square thing, but I think anything with a beat is music. Even normal music changes how we think; just because this particular kind of music changes how you think even moreso doesn't invalidate it as music.

Third and finally, why don't you like lady gaga? She's got some pretty catchy tunes.
