Has any one successfully had any experience with any of the doses while using apple ipod earphones ? I've tried several doses and none really do anything except make me tired and fall asleep.

Using iPod earbuds likely won't work for you.

I suggest trying a closed headset for this, meaning they feel like earmuffs!

I use Sennheiser 350s and they work great.
