Longer term experiences

I have been using the iDoser app for about 3 months. I am very curious how this technology works and how far it can go. I have been using the app on my iPod primarily although I have purchased MP3s and doses for the PC. I have tried to listen to doses for about an hour in the morning and then one or two hours each night (way too much time, I know, but I was experimenting).

First, my conclusion is this stuff is real, not placebo, and even the QH stuff works. It does take practice and a bit of "learning."

At first some doses would give a slight buzz and others (especially marijuana) wouldn't do much at all except in flashes where my mind would start to get in the zone. That was fairly frustrating, but I stuck with it. Once I got the condition dose and started every session with that, things progressed much quicker.

I think I understand quite a bit about how these work and what they are doing. Simple binaural beats set up brain waves at a particular frequency. Neural entrainment cause these waves to spread to the majority of the brain. Once a particular frequency can be established an entire multi-frequency signal can be created through signal processing.

In addition to the signal processing aspects, the brain likes to learn through repetition and reinforcement. Where neurons fire a lot, those connections get reinforced. The result is that careful repetition of using idoser trains the brain to better respond to the stimulus.

At about 6 weeks of repeating the pattern of using condition, then 2 or three other iPod doses my response got stronger. Green (iPos MJ) still gives me fits, but ones that really work well are:

* Ecstasy (iPod, sexual), it is female but it is still my favorite. The sexual high of being near orgasm is apparently very similar between genders. The sensations of getting there are quite different. I think women are luckier than men in this. Our stimuli are a bit monochromatic compared to that.

* MultipleO (PC). This is my second favorite and really shows how monochromatic male simuli are. I don't really want to disclose how detailed these sensations get for me, but lately it has been pretty amazing. I am starting to work on training my responses to the Viagra dose hoping it can be as clear. I'd much rather have a male oriented dose, but the current ones are great to understand the female point of view! I hope to put that knowledge to good use very soon. 8)

* Trip. This was the first one that worked consistently well. I would use idoser before sleep and then wake in the middle of the night having a flashback. My brain was probably replaying it and trying to rewire to it.

* Nitrous Oxide. Pretty good. I have yet to get that spontaneuos giggle the real thing can cause, but this brings a good buzz without too much effort.

* Opium another good effortless buzz

* Heroin. The real thing is really addictive so this scares me a bit. This dose seems to dig into the more ancient parts of your brain and stimulate the pleasure centers. No worries!

* Cocaine QH. I was really in the zone the other day and each half of my brain got high independently. I've never used the real thing, but this was a big surprise and really cool. I tried for days to recreate it but haven't. I know it is there though.

* Viagra. Not used very long, so I am not certain what is exactly encoded into this. This is what I am currently working on. Had flashes of what it felt like when I was much younger. This is not a dose simulating viagra, I don't think. It is closer to a male version of ecstasy without such an emphasis on staying close to orgasm. [Edit] I think this is more about making things happen in the real world after the dose is over than overt sensations during the dose, but I have to experiment more to confirm.

* Hash. Still working on it. Pretty good but for some reason it is difficult for me get to get all the way though without falling out of the zone.

Tips: Don't drink too much before using idoser. Alcohol dramatically blurs and dulls the effects. A little caffeine might help. Use the condition dose before every session if you want to max out results. The idea is to create a brainwave of a particular pattern (the dose). I think the base carrier for this is encoded in condition. Try to get that 18Hz buzz throughout your brain as smooth as glass. No stray thoughts, no undue body tension (forcing your body to stay rigid is also a distraction and a form of tension, don't do it), and a uniform buzz throughout the brain front to back. If you can get that these doses really start to pop.

I always have part of my attention focused on the base binaural beat. If you don't hear it you have become distracted and the dose loses effectiveness. Some doses really hide the beat so on those just listen to everything.

If you don't have much time or don't want to abandon sleep like I have, pick one dose to master. Then use condition followed by that dose every night before sleep. In 3-6 weeks I expect it will dramatically change in how detailed the effects are. Once you gain mastery of condition they all can pop pretty quick.

PC doses are the best, but they suck in that you are tethered to a PC. I won't say how to do it because it could lead to piracy (which is evil, pay for the thing!), but if you digitally (no analog step!!) rip the PC dose and then use lossless encoding it kicks ass on the iPod!

These guys are geniuses.

Well I've pushed the details I feel from doses about as far as I want. Repetition using the condition dose to calibrate how you listen, and allowing your brain to adapt to the signal over several weeks makes it really work. Example experiences that I had:

The various sexual Ecstasy doses seem to be a recording of the mental state of a woman using a vibrator. I can feel everything she does with the tip of it and it is pretty compelling.

The Hash and Marijuana doses - I can sometimes smell it when they take a hit, and it feels like the real thing (MJ being the only thing I have done for real, and a VERY long time ago).

The PC Excite dose seems like someone fooling around while doing speedball or similar. I can feel the rubber band on the arm tighten and loosen, I can feel the pressure on the nostril when taking a cocaine hit. The high for me now overpowers any sexual component. It is almost too intense and I get that OD panic and cannot finish it any more.

When chaining doses the effects of the first linger into the next. Do iPod Green, then OrgasmQH as an example.

There are mild problems I am having after such continuous use: I can awake feeling like I am doing a dose when I am not. I can awake with mild tinnitus, my mind can feel uncomfortably distracted for a couple of hours either after waking up or after a dose. I've started having high blood pressure when I never had that problem before. I've had some sexual problems getting aroused, but I don't know if this is from my brain being convinced I'm oversexed or that my brain's sexual wiring has changed somewhat, or just middle age coincidence. Regardless, I'm taking a break for a while. I will probably switch to one really good session every week or two - rather than every day and double on weekends. I was averaging 3 - 4 hours per day with extra on weekends 7 days a week for three months.

This stuff is REALLY cool technology. Reminds me of the movie Brain Storm. But as Mr. Ashton states in the guide, your brain is a delicate organ, treat it with care and caution. I do not believe that this product is without side-effects with over-use and I don't really want to be the person to find out what they are. It is certainly safer than using real drugs (and legal) . It is neat to better understand what women enjoy (although all are different). I already knew most of it, but not how it felt from their point of view - and I have never tried toys such as vibrators and ticklers which I might consider now.

And it has no calories!

I have overdone it for now though. Happy Dosing!

Anyone else getting this much detail from the doses? I was reluctant to discuss it since no one else reported it. I discussed it here because I thought people should know the full results of my "experiment."

I can say that I appreciate these posts. They're interesting reads, and I think they've convinced me to put a little more effort into using Condition often. I typically stick to one particular dose over the course of a week or so, before moving on to something else.

Good reads, I appreciate the info. I'll have to try a couple new doses, experiment around a little, and Condition often.

I had hoped someone might post after trying my suggestions for 3-6 weeks. Has anyone tried it? Did you get a result like I did?

I had reached a plateau of dose effectiveness with things working pretty well. I have been mostly trying to get Nitrous to get the spontaneous giggle still. I am pretty certain it is there because I can feel it get close to that but then the dose ends.

I had set my iPod to repeat a single track indefinitely for Nitrous - with moderate improvement but still no giggles. The next night I fell asleep during Ecstasy and forgot it was on repeat. It must have repeated for a couple of hours. I suddenly awoke with what felt like a starburst of neural activity filling my entire brain and was really confused as to what was going on. I was really wired into the dose and it was wierd. I tried a couple of other doses afterward and they had exceptionally strong effects. I ended staying up almost until dawn with them.

Be careful falling asleep with doses. I had read that I-Doser does not recommend sleeping with running doses. I agree. It was really bizarre.

Other doses are still working great even though I have backed off my usage. I go for days without using i-doser at all and Condition gets me back in the zone fairly well in a day or two.

I think I may have finally figured out what is encoded in Viagra, but I need to get more consistent results to be sure. [*EDIT*] I will stick to Ecstasy and MultipleO, thank you. Ecstasy is by far my favorite when I am in the zone. Marijuana is really good too. I like it better than hash because hash gets me too numb too quick.

It is sometimes difficult for me to fully figure out what is in the dose. For instance there seem to be some drug effects layered into some the of sexual doses - especially Excite. However doses can carry over so chaining them can cause a melange of effects confusing the issue.

Am I allowed to explicitly describe what I feel with these doses? It could be extremely graphic. In a recent review of First Love I chuckled because they left out the torn hymen. It hurts so good. LOL. Of course I didn't feel those effects until 2-3 months of use.

I've been thinking today about my comment regarding First Love. While I do seem to experience a lot of sensory stimulation from i-doser I don't experience much emotional response. The first time for young women can be extremely emotional and even traumatic. It is very possible that the reviewer who cried afterward was able to experience a very real emotional component to the dose that I haven't.

There is a lot there and focusing on one aspect of it will make you miss something else. I am not a very empathetic person so I probably won't get the emotional response, but that doesn't make it less of an experience for others.

Maybe they need to make a Good Cry dose. Just 30 minutes of sobbing. That can actually be very refreshing but I haven't experienced anything like that in over 30 years.

Well I went on vacation and broke my headphones! Aargh!
Time to upgrade!

I got some Shure 840s because I also do some music recording post-processing and thought they would help. Doses on these are pretty sweet. I finally got a little giggle from Nitrous! You have to really relax and let the does take over every inch of brain and body. Great high. It took almost a year, but I'm almost there on that dose.

I also doubt my previous impression that the sexual doses were doctored with drug effects. There may be a little of that, but not as much as I thought. I now believe that Excite includes the sensations felt by him and her at the same time. Recording that must have been a bundle of wires!
I think before I was focusing on her feelings since that is what the other sexual doses are like, but the dual sexual excitement was being interpreted by me as a drug high. I will have to work on this one a bit more since trying to sort out and simultaneously feel two experiences at once is tough. It is a cool experiment, but I definitely prefer experiences in ecstasy, multipleo, orgasm, and viagra. I wouldn't try to get everything out of excite until you've mastered those. I'm still not sure what is there.

It is so easy for imagination and memory to colour the dose effects. It is important to approach each session with a fresh perspective. Relax and let the dose do the work. You can only get in the way.

To me the doses have multiple levels to experience:

Beginner - heart beats faster, feel tingles, diziness, etc. Something is going on but no idea what

Intermediate - Flashes of more concrete experience. Flashes of authentic high or sexual sensation. Everything is like living an experience through a foggy dream.

Advanced - Extended concrete experience. Drug effects are sustained and affect feeling throughout the body. Sexual experiences are continuous and build. Muscle tension follows the dose including spasms in the perineum.

Perfect - No break in the concrete experience throughout the dose. Drug doses may cause feelings of confusion and alteration of the senses - may smell drugs that are inhaled. Sexual doses may cause sensations from multiple sources of stimulation simultaneously.

Just went through several stressful weeks for various reasons with i-doser intermittently working/not working. Under those conditions I learned again that being able to really relax your brain and shut off the day's thoughts is critical.

On the most difficult days I got odd results by switching the left and right speakers. It felt similar to the dose but also wrong. I did nitrous like that, then I switched back to normal speakers and had some improvement.

Stress has greatly relieved the last couple of days and BAM doses are back to working better than ever. For example I think MultipleO is simulating using of a Sybian or similar device. :D

I do the following to get best results...

1) Focus on the beating tone as if your were trying to count the beats, but don't count them.
2) When the tone causes a feeling like electricity or tingling in the brain learn to realax to let that feeling spread throughout the brain
3) Continue to let that tingly buzz spread throughout the body. I sometimes focus on my toes and the tone to try to get the buzz to extend everywhere.
4) Practice the above using Condition
5) When using other doses continue to listen in a combined focused yet relaxed state learned in steps 3 and 4. Don't switch focus completely to the dose effects. This can be difficult and takes practice.
6) Eventually with practice - and if you are not immune - the dose effects can feel very real and will demand your attention. At that point the 18 hz carrier is strong enough you can let go and enjoy!

thank you for sharing your experiences and tips with us, I am going to start using condition before my doses instead of going straight to the dose and see how that works for me
