Peyote

Ok, so basically I am a new doser. I remember last night I began listening to Marijauna. I had the volume only at 15% as opposed to 100% and didn't really feel anything, just a lot of static.
Decided to move to Peyote. Sat in a dark room, relaxed, listening. Nothing really happened but I did feel my body start to twitch, and the weird thing was that I was fully awake. Only got half way through..
Night #2: I listened to Peyote again in the same spot. Nothing on my mind, with lights dim and eyes closed. I was twitching but not as much as yesterday. I noticed that towards the end, the static gradually dissapeared. Now, this was odd because I am used to static on most tracks.. In the middle of this, I felt a third noise coming from the music it was like a door was creaking open, then the sound of screeching nails.
This really didn't scare me much but is this normal?
Also, I have two other questions.
1. What volume % should I use when listening? 15% 50% ? I'm actually afraid to turn it past 15% on my headphones because I saw that video on 1,000 ways to die where some guy explodes from binuaral beats but then again this was with some kind of blackmarket military music.
