I was trying out the Marijuana dose and about half way through the hertz peaked just before it went realllly low as it was coming down from the higher hertz my headphones started crackling like they where going to blow and they are $180 DJ noise cancelling through put stereo headphones.

This is the only one so far I have tried that did that and it really killed my ears . Any input would be appreciated thanks.

Set the volume much lower. It needs to be just loud enough to clear hear the white noise. It sounds like you are using the PC version? Set the master volume of your PC to 50% and then set the i-doser volume to a lower level too.

On the iPod I set the level between 40 and 60%.

If I set the master pc volume to 50% and IDoser pc app volume to 50% (or more?) Then what about the headphone volume? I will keep it to maximum? I know it depends on my liking and comfort level, but just asking what you would prefer?

Sometimes if you raise the volumes on certain properties differently than others (such as your HP's volume) can make it sound a little fuzzy, though I doubt that that is the case.
