If this dose only worked for 5 people so far, why does it cost 200$? Anyway, a friend of me got it, thats why I had the chance to try it. PC lag isn't always caused by lack of RAM, if your processor is old, that's most likely the issue...

1. Insert disc
2. When the autorun dialog comes up, select "Import songs using iTunes"

Obviously they've researched this, but as for your other questions just wait for iDoser...

Does anyone know if iPods have settings such as mono and stereo? Just want to make sure mine is set to stereo o.o

It requires concentration, the only activity you listed that might be possible is listening to music, seeing as how the mp3 disc iDoser sells contains music in the background.
