iPod plugin for drg files?

Post by Osama »

I imagine it would be possible to create a plugin for firmwares such as rockbox and/or iPod Linux that would allow drg files to be imported and played.

Just a thought ;o

I don't see why they wouldn't like it, seeing as how iTunes/iPod firmware is free...

Not sure if there are any programmers here at iDoser, but with a bit of research I'd guess it wouldn't be too hard, especially for a someone with experience.

I'll ask around at the rockbox/iPod linux forums ;o

Not really sure, it was such a long time ago I installed it. I think you just put it in the main folder of your ipod, but I think you have to run a patch or loader thing too. You'd probably have better luck at the rockbox forum, sorry.
