Eyes open???
Eyes open???
Well I was just wondering I-Doser is a great program yeah I love it but.... I know it says to get the full 100% effect or get it working... Your eyes must be closed and in a dark room.
Well I hate having my eyes closed for 45 mins and staying in one spot. Can I keep my eyes opened and use the computer aka: Surfing the net? Will I still get the full effect if I put the volume on High???

putting the volume on high while trying to surf the internet will probably just give you a headache and/or damage your ears for playing so loud.
That said, I do like to have cocaine playing on repeat, in a low volume while im working on my laptop. For some reason it helps me stay focused on work, and I get alot of work done rather than straying away surfing the net and whatnot. Being your own boss is tough when you have a short attention span, but the cocaine dose has definetly helped me find a balance, and whenever I'm satisfied with the work I've done, I'll go into my room with the laptop, shutoff the lights and finish off whatevers left of the dose. Afterwards I challenge my roommate to a match of FIFA 07, leaving him baffled by how fast paced my passing is in the game.

Re:
I think the key term there is "full effect," which doesn't mean you don't get any effect with your eyes open. I've never tried any of this stuff with my eyes closed, so I can't comment on that, but I can tell you that I get plenty with my eyes open, doing other things. I have tried just concentrating on listening and I find it's the same thing either way. Entrainment does not require that you concentrate on anything, or have your eyes closed, although that will tend to relax your mind more, giving the dose a better opportunity to be effective. For me it's not a question of closing my eyes as I do not really have time for that, but at the same time I am incredibly happy with the doses.AYK_SW wrote:No. you need patience and concentration if you want the full effect.

Re: Eyes open???
Open eye and Closed eye it doesn't matter as long as you can keep your mind void of contaminating thoughts. I personally like to open my eyes with hallucination doses and see all the colors and stuff in front of me. Its all very strange. As far as doing things your tasking your brain to do things that require certain frequencies so if you are typing on the computer while using a hallucination its not gonna work because your fighting it subconsciously. But if your using a stimulation while typing its more likely to work. For example I used the Cocaine dose while on my computer but it then took me and I was a spaz for a while before I finally figured out what I was doing.

Some topics are worth digging up though What we do want to do is look at the choices we have here which might be listening and doing something else versus just doing something else. I think it's pretty clear that however you use this, it's going to be helpful in some way
