are these head phones good enough?
headphones?
Aplogies for the late response my CPU fan died.
No these suck. I listened to the hand of god and I was shacking, new I was so didn't have a real effect. All others felt nothing. I had a pair of AX360 (5.1) headphones and they worked, their $150, look on ebay much cheaper. I have a high end 7.1 speaker setup and I must say there's is so much your losing with these headphones. Don't buy, buy something at least $100

These are my headphones http://www.thesourcecc.com/estore/Produ ... ct=3319640
Meaby they're part of the reason why it's not really affecting me, I do feel something but not the described effect. Might as well invest in new headphones!

The Sony MDR series has a few good ones though. V6 is the way to go for the cheapness. They're under a hundred bucks through EBay stores. Have a flat frequency response of 5hz (below human hearing abilities) to 22khz (I think, can't quite remember). The other MDR ones you posted were 16hz-22khz, but with a frequency response that's all over the place. That's my recommendation. Take it if you like it.
