Binaural beats get weaker with time?

Post by EatMoreMushrooms »

looking at another site who sells binaural beats music to simulate the theta state they stated the following:

"However, real success at Astral Projection does not happen by listening to only one audio. Over time it becomes unsustainable as your brain 'gets used' to hearing the same frequency pattern and gradually the effect becomes less and less. Having different recordings that all contain these special frequencies enhances your brains response."

Is this true? I would think that this would only make it easier for the brain to achieve that frequency. perhaps they just state this to sell more CDs or make there 'astral projection set' seem larger for the price. Or does binaural beats really do get weaker once your brain gets used to them?

ive heard they only get stronger, ive never heard they get weaker...you'd think that your brain would get used to them, but your body doesn't get used to drugs and they stop working, so yeah...I'd say it only gets better because when people dont get affects when they start using a dose for the first time, and then they start having growing affects...however I'm sure theres a plateua you can reach from listening to them to their max.

I agree with you. If your brain got used to it, it would only take a shorter amount of time to achieve. possibly if even heard enough to the point that the unconscious mind KNOWS the patterns could initiate the next part of the pattern prematurely as it is 'used to it'. You are right about drugs and how they dont just 'stop working', but drugs have physical effects on the body while the brain could just not listen to binaural beats if i s chose not to synchronize over time :?

ah, thanks yeah. It would be nice if idoser looked into this more, but then again they wouldn't say that they wore off over time, people wouldn't be as eager to buy them.

Honestly i dont want to call anyone who has researched this stuff more than me, or is a doctor or scientist, an idiot.

But from what ive researched that is bullshit.

From what ive read, as your brain gets more suseptable to getting in a nuero-focus faster, your mind will transition to an altered state faster over time, allowing more mental, meditational, state to set in faster. thus your mind relaxes and your consious awarness stops fighting abnormal states, and trances.

All this meaning the more you are exposed to a specific freaquence, your mind is usually able to work with it, and allows itself to be influenced by it.
But diffrent doses run on diffrent frequencies, so while you may get good at one dose, dosnt mean you can do lsd for the first time and be able to get the full affect, or even have it work. You would have to get your mind able to settle with that frequency.

Some doses run on a similar frequency as others, and you may notice your able to get that dose to work as well as another. All becuase your mind used to that freaquency.

I kinda went farther into this then what you were asking, but its really a big linking story, that to understand one thing you have to understand everything.

I could be wrong, because im not the proffesional. But whatever.

My piano teacher did a test when she was younger were she throught your brain was more relaxed when listening to music youve heard before, she was wrong, apparently your brain is actively listening even if you get distracted to whatever it has heard before. Come on you advanced users try distracting yourself when listening to I-Doser. Youll still get effects only less active.

if you use the same dose every day you will need a recovery period but if you use a variety there is no way you should be immune

well, i have been doing the cocainqh almost every day now ad although i notice the high less than before, and sometimes i will question if it worked, but when i start coming down i do notice it so i know it worked, i think the only reason it might work less over time is because it is more easy to get distraced, like seeing a movie that youve seen before its just less attention grabbing
