I used to take these, then I started getting bad trips but still continued to take them lol. I stopped cause Times Super Market stopped selling them I mean, who the hell buys them.
The effects you get from "skittles" and cough syrup is purely from the destruction of brain cells. Research drugs before you use them people! www.erowid.org is the best place for info. Stick to natural stuff, and the occasional LSD.

First of all this is a terribly old thread, dont resurface, post a new thread and start an argument about this. Secondly, you should do a little more research on erowid. Cough syrup gets its effects from the active ingredient DXM which is Dextromethorphan hydrobromide. This is a first class cough suppressant when taken in low doses but can become a powerful dissasociative in high doses. It works through the non-competitive antagonoism of NMDA receptors which basically means that it interferes or inhibits the physiological action of the NMDA receptor, which allows sodium and calcium ions into the cell and potassium ions out. This interaction is what causes the high, not the destruction of brain cells. DXM eventually deteriorates and is filtered out of the blood (ends the trip). The only supposed brain damage comes from what is called Olney's Lesions which has been largley unfounded. Anyway, I was a bit mad until I found out that you just returned to these here forums. Sorry if you read it when I was ranting. Just educating a little bit, plus I am very tired.
Nah does not matter, cough syrup is definatley on my bad drug list anyway. If you need to trip so bad you drink down two bottles of cough syrup to do it, then idk. Just extract the DXM out of it. haha
