What headphones should you use?

Post by idoser »

This forum gets many posts asking if a specific brand of headphones will work with I-Doser.

Our offical comment on this is that while many high quality headphones will work fine, we only support the model and brand that our I-Doser engineers use when developing our doses. These are the headphones that we QA on, and do all our development with.

High volume has nothing to do with the trip you get, you need the right amount of volume to hear the dose and get the effects, if it is too loud then it might add extra static which will mess up the dose.

Mine is 21-18000 HZ, but it must work...

specifications:

# Acoustic principle: dynamic closed
# Ear coupling: circumaural
# Frequency response: 21 - 18,000 Hz
# Max sound pressure level: 108dB
# Total harmonic distortion: < 0.7%
# Impedance: 24 ohm
# Cable length: 3m copper cable
# Weight without cable: approx. 165g (5.82 oz)
# Jack plug: 3.5mm stereo jack with 6.3mm adapter

I bought it for almost 30 $. A friend of mine tried HAND OF GOD with cheap Tesco value headphones, and it worked. So this Sennheiser has to be good for i-doser too.

Really? Yes, i bet sehrenseiser or whatever paid I-doser $10Million just so people would consider buying their expensive headphones. Oh, and of course they should jsut throw away the expensive headphones and buy your freakin $110 dollar headphones! Because yours will make tehm trip teh bawlz lawl.

</sarcasm>

look, im not trying to be the admin or whatever, but their reccomended headphones will of course work, adn most stereo headphones with the specific range listed above will work too. simple.

Still no effects :P

The headphones: Sennheiser HD 201
The circumstances: dark room, silence, chilled state...

I'm trying it for more than 1,5 months. The recreational CD has no effect on me, too.
