what headphones

Post by Micos »

It's simple if you don't know buy the most expensive. Also you can buy the cheaper one but you must to look in tech details and see what freq range is it .At you look in the specific of the dose you will see what is lower range of freq of the dose and you must buy the headphones that can reproduce it.If not it's your mistake. To expirience the dose you must be able to recieve all spectar of sounds doesn't matter do you can hear it or not with your physical ears (your brain can).Your brain must have the sounds of the specific freq range to activate some centers that will produce some effects.Doses are OK and only thing what wrong is headphones.I found some headphones for about 40-50$ with range below 20HZ so anybody can do this but must see tech details or ask the seller to show it.It's so good to have wireless but if you ddont have enough money and wont wait buy the ones what you can and start flying.IT'S so important that you look at freq range and all complains will go away.If you serve your brain the complete sound it will serve back to you the complete expirience --simple.Let's go ride.Yu-Hu-Hu

i do how ever have a VERY important question if you use the "Noise Cancelling" Features on a head phone (Adds White noise) could this screw up a dose?

Who knows, just don't use it and you know it won't interfere because it's not even on.

Excuse my ignorance. But from reading this I assume that you must use headphones?

Speakers will not work?

You are correct.

You have to be hearing separate things in each ear, so speakers don't work.

Umm... I'm a bit lost here..

Post by Sarkasmi »

So umm.. the headphones you recommend respond to "18 Hz to 21 kHz" like it says on the page. But the brainwaves actually respond to:

> 40 Hz = Gamma waves - Higher mental activity, including perception, problem solving, fear, and consciousness

13–40 Hz = Beta waves - Active, busy or anxious thinking and active concentration, arousal, cognition

7–13 Hz = Alpha waves - Relaxation (while awake), pre-sleep and pre-wake drowsiness

4–7 Hz = Theta waves - Dreams, deep meditation, REM sleep

< 4 Hz Delta waves - Deep dreamless sleep, loss of body awareness

So.. You don't even stimulate Alpha, Theta and Delta waves? Since if those are the headphones you use while creating the doses and they don't even play back the frequencies...?

Or have I actually misunderstood something? :/

But yeah, I guess Gamma is where it's at, with the list of effects.. I just thought that I'm screwed since my headphones "only" respond to 10-22000Hz ... But well, I guess it should work then.. I've tried 3 different doses and the effect is always the same.. I just sink into the "noise", try to relax, then lose the sense of time as I'm doing nothing but focusing on the sound and... nothing else happens :(

The first one I tried was Marijuana2.. But I didn't use a "reset" dose in between. But do I have to, since there was like 2 hours in between of the tries..?

Damn.. I really really hoped these things would work.. Well.. I guess I'll keep on trying. I hope this isn't just a hoax.. Since it really sounds amazing and .. possible.

Oh yeah and is there anything else I should consider to check about my headphones? I mean, it'd be really useful to know what is a factor for them to work... Just the response frequency?

You know, if you'd just post the info that the headphones MUST HAVE, everyone could just check for themselves if their headphones have the proper requirements and they wouldn't be asking about all of the headphones separately..

But yeah, thanks in advance.. I will still try one before going to sleep.. but it feels like I'm just wasting my money away :(

well i found out that headphones with cable have got a much better range of freq.

but why the hell do you recommend sennheiser with a range 18hz-20khz when there are headphones (with cable) with a range of 8hz-28,5khz and they are even cheaper...

and what about the impetance? has it any effect on how the doses work?
