Insusceptive to the placebo effect

Post by livelonger87 »

Alright, I know I-doser is a placebo but contrary to the common perception of a placebo, the effects are intense.

A common misinterpretation of the placebo effect is to percieve it as being "weak minded" or "fooled", whereas it's the act of your unconscious mind altering your body at either a biological physical level or at a psychological conscious state (Altering your state of perception without altering your bodily functions). Altering your conscious state may induce upon your brain; your subconscious mind creating a duplicate of your body and brain, thinking they both exist in reality whereas it's being played back throughout an alternative re-created reality, similar to that of what occurs throughout your dreams (Your brain paralyzes your body and creates a mental duplicate of your brain, body and environment).

The alteration of a physical state may induce upon your senses reacting your your unconscious; imaginative mind (Since your subconscious has no conscience, no method for regulating positive or negative, it'll accept any suggestion (It's both great to see people self-heal due to the power of the brain; the subconscious (I'll explain more later on why I see the brain as the unconscious mind) altering the physical level of the body and sad to see people die under the diognosis of various cancers and incurable diseases by authorities (Inaccurate diagnosis))); a reality played back throughout your mind that isn't present in physical reality. An example of this would be you dreaming about having sex with someone when they aren't with you in reality.

A reality is still a reality. Your dreams are a reality, a reality is what you see and believe is real. The reality you percieve and interact with at the moment may be one large dream that ends when you die, only for you to awaken upon another reality that you will inevitably believe is a reality. Being conscious at the moment enables you to view the present reality whilst knowing (or believing) that your dreams are a segment of your imaginative mind. However, whilst dreaming, you believe your dreams are the reality and that dreams are a segment of your imagination, ironic isn't it :P.

Anyway, the placebo effect is incredibly powerful, perhaps more powerful than a drug, medicin or form of pleasurable product that could enhance your life. Many interpret it as "fooling" yourself, whereas it's a very effective way to enjoying life and inducing upon the process of self-healing.

Anyway, I can't seem to prolong the effects of various doses of I-doser, as my mind seems to filter it out. I'd rather be able to become susceptive to the placebo effect again but I'm unsure as to how to remove conscious regulations of the I-doser effect.

It's not so much being "susceptible" to the placebo effect as it is being influenced by the power of suggestion. Since you recognize that what you are doing is in fact a placebo, you are no longer being influenced by the power of suggestion, no longer being convinced that there is a real effect going on. So getting an effect is unlikely.
