You really want headphones that can hear a wide range of frequencies such as 18-21 hrz.

I think NO.
You need headphones that
1)Stereo - because from 2 channels sounds differend frequency. Yes. Apple headphones are stereo.
2)Must be comfortable. It mustn't try to get out of your ears or try to press your head. When you put it on you shoul forget about wearing them. And Apple headphones aren't comfortable. Just present them your grandma next Christmas or throw them away.

I've been switching off between ipod headphones and another set I use for recording and such and the ipod ones aren't too bad like everyone has been saying. I usually forget they're on so I dunno what your opinion is.
