Beep at the end
Beep at the end
Two things (nothing to do with eachother):
1. The beep at the end that indicates the dose is over... can this not happen? I hate it.
2. I've had very minimal success with I-doser; I've been trying so hard to focus, but I can't help but keep thinking about whether or not the dose is working. Sometimes I imagine something that would be making the sounds I am hearing, like I might picture the thing on a grandfather clock with a deep "ding.. dong" back and forth... is this a bad technique?

It's possible to fix the beep.
Before doing this, you should know that it also affects a lot of Windows pop-up alerts.. so only change it if you and anyone who shares your user account won't be affected too much by it.
Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices -> Sound
Find Asterisk.
Change the sound to something quieter, softer, less intrusive.. there are lots of sounds there to choose from that can notify you without destroying your buzz

Thanks Purrtyful, I changed it to the recycle sound.. which is just a really low (almost inaudible) paper crumple. Right after i made this topic, I tried A-Bomb, becuase apparently it's effect can't be ignored. Before, I had tried many doses. I think that only the French Roast worked.. but by nature, it isn't a very powerful effect. Peyote had pretty much no effect on me, and same with marijuana. So anyway, I just did A-Bomb, and I can't quite tell if it worked (I am assuming that means it didn't) -- but during the dose, my heart started pounding really fast, and afterward, my only real symptom was that the muscle in my right arm was kind of tensing up on its own, and I feel a little bit hyper. Can anyone describe their effect from A-Bomb, so I can compare and see if I felt a similar effect, as well?
Ah, just read the description of A-Bomb.. starting to think it worked.. but only DURING the dose. At one point I lost all feeling in my body.. i almost felt like it didn't exist at all. My head felt like it was suspended in space. After the dose, though.. nothing pretty much... I actually usually experience a similar thing -- i will feel some effect during the dose, the lightheadedness or slight euphoria, but afterwards, basically back to normal.. this happen to anyone else?
Sorry for adding more and more... but purrty, i just read your experience of A-Bomb, and I had like the EXACT same thing you said: Right near the end I felt like I was spinning incredibly fast. After it was over, I was feeling giddy, light, a tiny bit dizzy and was kind of shaking.. couldn't keep my hands still. I'm still feeling a bit giddy now.
I actually just started feeling this now (5-10 min after dose) My stomach is pulsating in and out and my whole body is vibrating. I don't know though, from what I have heard about this dose, it is supposed to be like a HUGE effect.. maybe I am not in the right state of mind to tell.. but I mostly just feel a little tipsy and shaky..
