Effect on Dreaming

Post by powerade »

Over the next few nights I will be cuonducting a trial on various doses effect on my dreams. I will state my observations daily and invite other users to do the same. Since dreams are very unpredictable and inconsistant, I will point out the differences in the "feel" of the dream rather than the contents. I should note that I am a very regular lucid dreamer having been doing it for several years.

Last Night - Heroin. After the dose was done, I was in a sleepy and dreary state and it took roughly 15-20 minutes to fall asleep. I describe this dream as very vivid and almost realistic. Nothing was out of the ordinary or crazy like my dreams usually are. I was navigating my town and the landmarks were almost perfectly consistant with reality. Then I arrived at my house and went into my room. In my dream I had been smoking marijuana and was supprised to feel realistic effects; hazy and HD vision (what I call it), periodic twitching, and a overall feeling of content. At this point I had not realised I was dreaming. I was in my room, and i thought I was hallucinating because everytime I turned or looked away then back again, an object was moved, missing, or had appeared. I was extremely paranoid that my parents would notice, not knowing I was dreaming. Then I felt a surge of euphoria followed by numbness that brought me to the floor. After a few minutes I discovered that I was dreaming and unfortunatly woke up.

This was an unusual experience because I have never had such a vivid and consistant dream at least with not knowing it was a dream, a factor that I can only attribute to using IDoser. Tonight Ill be using the Lucid Dream dose and will report back tomorrow.

That's really a neat experience. My dreams overall become more vivid when I dose at night. Usually the more relaxing, spiritual doses are a catalyst for vivid dreams. I have never lucid dreamt with i-doser, though.

Lucid Dream- I was disappointed with my experience this dose. While I was self aware of the dream, It lakced the detail and vividness of the dream the night before. It was however easier to identify that it was a dream. I cannot discredit the dose, but at the same time I cannot say that the dose had a profound effect on my subconscious. Tonight I will be trying Theta.
