People with ADD question

Post by Matt0 »

Okay so I have ADD, Attention Deficit Disorder and I want to know if anyone here that has ADD is able to get the effects okay.

I don't have a very severe case of it, just sometimes when I try to read a book or something, my mind wanders away even if I really want to read and its interesting.

So anyone with ADD have any tips for me? How long did it take you to feel effects when you first started? I know about the counting backwards thing and all that but I want to hear from people with ADD or people that know enough about it to help.

Edit: Anyone can answer, but I would like to hear from the afore mentioned people as well.

I'm not an expert on Attention Deficit Disorder, but I would suggest a quickhit dose to start off with, if you can focus for that long then keep trying the quickhits and see if you get any effects. Slowly make your way towards longer and longer doses if the quickhits work for you. Oh and take your medication.(Seriously though, I don't mean it in a rude way)

Well, I'm fairly new and I have ADD.

You'll be fine though. If it's really bad, just start off with quickhits and such. Work your way up to the longer doses and you won't be missing a thing.

I haven't been diagnosed with ADHD, but I hope to be by the end of the year (who knew having ADHD would be so hard to get diagnosed in the UK for girls? :( ). I tend to just try and put myself into a relaxed mind frame and do my best not to think about anything. Sometimes, my mind does wander and I end up singing a song in my head or thinking up something-- (I had a very strange thought at some point during an Inspire dose this morning-- "don't kiss Azazel, kiss sultans!") and although it may take it a while to work, I think it's worth sticking with it.

Though I'm fairly new to i-doser myself... I just got interrupted 65% through hash by my mum, who, ironically, was trying to get i-doser to work.

I think it is worth it too, Ive been getting better paying attention to it. Ive already had experiences with several of them. I've also been using Condition to help as well.

I hope to try many more out for myself! I've even got my family into it!

I just got reset yesterday, now that you mention it. I tried anesthetic, but I didn't really get anywhere with. Just gotta keep trying I guess.
