So bored that you just want quite during a dose what to do?

i tryed counting backwards... still boring.
Then i itch like a mother ****er and it ruins the dose.
Thats why i have never completed a full long dose before

Well it really is quite boring.
I usually just count and listen to the dose and try not to think anything else. After I had completed few full doses I got used to the 'boringness' and it's not nearly as boring as it used to be. Try not to think how boring it is and just go with the dose.

My counting game is start at 20 and count backwards then 19 and back then 18 and so on.

I have only tried QHs, but am interested in the responses that can come out of this thread.

I have the same problem with long doses... they used to work great for me but i can't lay still because of a bad back..
but if you have it in your mind that if you scratch an itch the dose is messed up then chances are it will be.
try the counting but if you itch or something just scratch it but continue to focus on the beats..
im working on a way to make it work better for me whenever i move if i find a way that isn't as boring i'll post it.. i like the spinning feeling i get.. i like the inhalant dose..

try one that hits you faster so you aren't just waiting for effects

If you don't concentrate on how bored you are and pick an anchor (counting breaths, counting numbers, listening intently, staring at your eyelids, etc.) I dot see how you could get bored. I would try and pick a new method for concentration. Perhaps your bored with
counting, not the dose.

Of course im not bored with the dose, But im still not getting the effects i read that you guys get. And i am most sertintly *Go ahead attack my spelling* Doing it correctly and im doing it about 9 times a day using reset after each dose. It might be im not consintatrating hard enough or am i doing it to hard?

Try not to think about the effects you think you should get. I get much better results that way, but it may be just me. And try to relax as much as possible, usually if I try to concentrate too much I'm not that relaxed.

well i usually dont get to bored. my only problem is i start hearing things like pattern changes in the beats that isnt really happening and the farthest i get is to hearing a voice but i end up falling asleep and having...very very very strange day dream type of things that are some what disturbing or creepy but not so much scary :P but what i do is count my breath in 2's breath in (1) breath out (2) thats what i do like the hole time. or do it with a friend. just my opinion an what i do.

Too much concentration can hurt you just as well as not concentrating enough can hurt you. Focusing on the effects you think you will get also will not help you acheive anything. If you use a concentration technique, it helps you not concentrate on what you wan't to feel, and not concentrate enough on the sounds.

Read up about anchors, and counting techniques.

I find that instead of regular counting, count so it seems like the words blend into the noises you hear.

I hear all of you... i usually fall into a theta sleep (light light sleep) where I'm aware of things but only half way... During a dose I usually just let my mind wonder, it's easy since I'm ADHD. :D

Do you just let yourself fall asleep?
Many people mistake falling asleep for trances.

When you trance you are aware that you are in a trance and are able to influence the visuals on your eyelids in a lot of cases.
It probably was a trance though, unless you can just make yourself fall asleep whenever you want :P
