Song I wrote after Inspiration

I'm not sure if this is where this goes, but it can be moved if nessicary.

I tried my first full length dose ever last night: Inspire. I saw red flashes a few times, and my inagination was very wild durring the dose. Before the dose, I setup my keyboard. I was going to write a piano song. Here it is:

I did little editing, so it is kind of off beat a few times. I wanted to keep it as pure as I could. It was recorded with a metronome, but I got rid of the metronome track. It was all done in one take.

There are a few parts I wanted to change, but like I said. I wanted to keep it pure.

It was inspired by the type of sci fi art included in each video. The song is about a space ship that crashed on a primative planet, and eventualy was re-launched. But the ship was destroyed going out of the atmosphere, and only a few members survived.

this music seems so perfect, it seems to me it describes all the doses. the song gave me a darkish feeling at start witch would show the scarier doses and then it goes all light to show the happier side of the doses.

I am doing the same thing tonight, only I am going to try a steampunk song. Also, should this go in Art/Music? No one said anything, but it seems rules are a bit more lax here than they are in other forums.

Steampunk? I thought I was some sort of audio aficionado. Is that a type of music, or a group, or what?

I try to keep people posting in the right sections, but apparently no one cares for rules here. This belongs in Art/Music, and yes, many people will see and enjoy your posts. We all can tell when someone posts something new

It is a style, like goth. It has it's own sound, it's own paintings, and it's own stlye. So it can discribe alot of stuff. As for what it actually is, this is steampunk.


It is wood, brass, gears, and big, puffy clothes. It is Victorian based fantasy/sci fi.

It is the past if the future came faster.

Looks like it belongs in a modern art museum. I somehow like it though.
It reminds me, not of the surreal paintings, but some of Dali's work. Some people may get mad at me for saying that though.
